I find it difficult to learn which computer components constitute a sweet spot for performance/cost for editing with DXO.
For exporting photos, more CPU cores are better and the power of the video card will not be used. But I plan to export pictures over night, hence it does not matter whether it takes 1 or 6 hours.
But what do matters for we is the editing part. Regarding cropping, adding filters, changing WB, smart lighting, making local corrections and so on, which components should one buy to get at fluent workflow without waiting to see changes?
Do anyone have experience or an qualified opinion of which of these CPUs and GFXs are a minimum requirement for fluent edits (not exports) in DXO with 16 GB RAM and SDD?
