I’ve noticed that the newest version of Color Efex Pro 5 (5.05 x64 (5.6.0)) takes about 30 seconds to load and to be able to access the filter controls. Calling the plugin from inside Photoshop never used to be this slow and it is greatly impacting my workflow. The image is visible on screen, but none of the filter controls are accessible until about 30 seconds after the plugin loads.This is the same regardless of choosing a preset from the selection tool or selecting Color Efex Pro from Photoshop’s filter menu.

What’s the load time like when you run CEP in stand-alone mode, and open an image from the File menu ? … The answer may suggest where the problem lies.
