I have started to use Apple’s touchpad instead of a mouse and found that changing tool sizes in local adjustments is a pain.
We need a persistent display of the tool size. Currently, the brush (example) overlay disappears when the pointer goes over the size sliders.
Note: Scrolling (two fingers on the touchpad) works as expected…

On a Mac, Cmd + two finger scrolling adjusts tool size when over the sliders and the slider when over it.
The overlay has to disappear when adjusting a slider, otherwise you would not be able to locate the pointer on the slider or adjust them

Lightroom does display the brush circles even when I change sizes with the sliders.
knowing your tools helps (I’ve been using the touchpad for a few weeks only)
