Unable to use Nik in PS CC

Despite multi uninstalls/reinstalls/re-downloads/etc. on my MAC running High Sierra 10.13.5 I get this message every time I call up Nik from the filter menu in PS:

          Could not complete the Color Efex Pro 4 command because of a problem with the filter module interface.

Then nothing happens. PS doesn’t crash anymore at this point. The installs of Nik have gone smoothly. I have downloaded your latest version as of this morning. The plug-ins seem to be working OK in LR CC. I need to be able to use CEP4 on selections in PS. I rarely use it on a full image in LR! Help?

I should fix you problem actually something goes wrong on the rights of you ~/Library/Preferences/DxO/

If you type :
ls -l ~/Library/Preferences/ | grep 'DxO'

in a terminal you should have something like and your user on the xxxxxx

drwxr-xr-x 11 xxxxxx staff 374B Jun 21 16:45 DxO/
