My question has to do with the order of application of the developing palettes, specifically, at what point is sharpening done in relation to noise reduction (actually, the position of noise reduction in general). Since we cannot see the application of the Prime noise reduction except in the small window provided, we can’t really see how sharpening will interact with that until the final image is produced. Or does that window show the effect of sharpening (and the other processing palettes) as well as noise reduction?
It would really not make sense to me to sharpen before noise reduction, as sharpening noise and then removing it might create unwanted artifacts.
