Presets and Recipes

Hi Barbara,

If you have both PL 3 and the Nik Collection installed then you should be able to see a “Nik Collection” button at the top of your Image Browser
… Like this; image
Click on that button and you should see a menu of Nik Collection tools
… Like this; image
Alternatively, you can use the drop-down on the RHS of the (default) “Export to Disk” button to access the “Export to Application” option
… Like this; image
– which you can use to select one of the Nik tools with which you wish to work.

I’m just playing with the Nik Google collection I still had. Trying to figure out if I could make it work with PL. Of course the Nik Collection button didn’t show anything. I opened one of them with Export to application and selected Silver Efex from the disk. That was yesterday.
Surprise. Now I can use the Nik Collection tab with 8 plugins.

Hi @Beachscriber - Your recent “Like” of this post here drew my attention to my misunderstanding, back then, about ability to save U-point details to the Nik sidecar/.np files … In fact, U-point details can be saved.

See here for updated info

One can always move them or delete them but recreating them can be tedious.
