I use Photo Mechanic Plus for my DAM and thus for metadata including color tags.

I use FastRawViewer to allocate color tags which Photolab displays already

I use colour tags in Photomechanic whilst culling

I have not used color tags, but @bbuttolph gave me a way in which I may use the DXO or Fast Raw Viewer Color tags. Grouping images for photostacking, panos etc. could easily be done with color tags. It would work nicely into my workflow. Thanks

Rating/stars and Pick are enough for me, I do not use colour tags but in Finder.

For colour tags I use:
Corel Aftershot Pro
DxO Photolab
Adobe Bridge

Especially now. They add a lot of cool AI features that make my life easier, you know

I use Fastrawviewer to cull my pictures before importing onto the hard drive. colour labels set in fastrawviewer imports into capture one but not into photolab6 - as I do a lot a stacking I would love for PhotoLab to import labels so I can easily see beginning and end of stacks by colour labels set in fastrawviewer
