Yes it’s non destructive.
Yes, it’s saving in database, and optionally to sidecar (set in Preferences).
Please note that you can try it for one month to check before buying.
PhotoLab has had new releases on a yearly basis. DPL version 6 should be out in the next few weeks.
Search the forum for release dates and times, when special discounts are available.
That could save you some irritation.
As far as my personal preferences go, I’d advise to check out all apps of the “Premium Bundle” too.
