Nik Collection 4 Windows installer straight up doesn't start

Hi,

For me, Nik Collection 4’s installer just doesn’t start at all, it just stops running. There is not even any error messages.

The only things I can see is in Event Viewer:

at System.Threading.ThreadHelper.ThreadStart()

Also, there’s an Application Error in KERNELBASE.dll that basically says Nik_Collection_4_byDxO.exe failed to run.

When run, the program doesn’t even go as far to ask for admin privileges. Running as administrator doesn’t change anything.

I’m using Windows 10, 21H1, 64bit.

Welcome to the forum.

Not sure if I can help but try deleting your download and downloading Nik again. The download may be corrupted.

I also have this exact issue. Bought my version today and can’t install it.
