When applying lens sharpness to high contrast areas there is a distinct separation of sharpening applied in mid contrast and high contrast areas. Anyone else noticed this?

Hard to understand what you’re referring to, but could it be that this is due to the correction of chromatic aberrations (where contrast is very high), which when sharpened or contrasted too much produces haloing? Also, are you using ClearView Plus?
