It would be great if there will be layer support.
Think of:
NIK plugins in layers (instead of editing and saving a jpg or tiff)
masks
using thirth party plugins
combining 2 or more images (double exposure etc.)
+100500 for this one. I absolutely love the concept of adjustment layers. âLocal adjustmentâ afaik is kind of inferior to the idea of layers - no blending modes, all possible adjustmets are hanging off of a mask/control point in the UI - cumbersome to work with. Capture NX2 used to solve this much more elegantly with Adjustment Layers. Technically the underlying machinery is pretty much the same, but instead - more streamlined and convenient UI.

I donât know what snapshots exactly means. What I would like is the possibility to make adjustments in layers, so I can remove it, change the order, something like a local adjustment, but than with the whole image. It that way, It would maybe possible to use several NIK plugins after each other, without creating multiple TIF files. Is that what you mean with Snapshots?
Yes, something similar. And we are thinking over it.
