Do all prests that come with Photolab have optical corrections

Yes, that is what you want to do in most cases.

PhotoLab 5.4 features almost 200 presets, that will be visible or not, depending on what you’ve licensed. Most presets don’t include optical corrections.

These presets change optical correction settings:

  • 1 - DxO Standard
    → Applies optical corrections for Vignetting, Lens Sharpness, Chromatic Aberration, Distortion
    → Also applies DxO Smart Lighting, White Balance, Color Rendering, DxO Denoising…, Crop

  • 2 - DxO Optical Corrections only
    → Applies optical corrections for Vignetting, Lens Sharpness, Chromatic Aberration, Distortion

  • 5 - No correction
    → Removes optical corrections and everything else too (= “master reset”)
