Display of Coordinates in Tone Curve

John, thank you for the hint.

But creating and applying partial presets is a cumbersome way for small individual adjustments.

It is much more convenient to have an option within the Tone Curve panel to directly save or load a preset there, where this preset only relates to the settings of the curve.

For example, look at how that is done in Affinity Photo for saving a preset to Curves. But then again, loading a preset in Affinity is unfortunately cumbersome.

Anyway, I find adjustments of the tone curve in Affinity Photo much nicer than in Photolab.

If you like to add handles to the tone curve, you can use (and edit) this:
Part - Tone Curve Handles.preset.zip (813 Bytes)

If you open the file in a text editor, you can easily find how to change the values or add and remove handles. Just make sure they come in pairs.

I have voted. This is one of the most important needed refinements to me.

A quick comparison with how the old Kodak DCS PhotoDesk worked tone curves would be of benefit to the DxO developers…

In particular I miss being able to overlay the adjustable tone curve with histogram for visual comparison…
