Bug: Leica SL2-S support is broken

PhotoLab 5 (5.4.0) reports errors when loading DNG files from Leica SL2-S:

When selecting NR following error is reported:
DeepPRIME: ComputeAdjusterInputROILocked failed
High Quality: Correction failed on the Execute stage

Note that PureRAW does not report errors but creates a broken file

Hello @SrMi ,

can you provide me some images (dng) for which you have troubles ?
You can share them with https://upload.dxo.com/

Regards,
Marie

Hello @Marie,

I have uploaded the file. Additional info: lens used was a Sigma 28-70/2.8
Let me know if you need more information.

Hello @SrMi ,

issue is with the Optic module, it gives error. We will correct it as soon as possible.
In the mean time you need to remove it.

First thing is to close PhotoLab and/or PureRAW if they are opened.
File to remove is C85053a_00.caf.
If you are on Windows, you can find it in

  • C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\DxO\DxO PhotoLab 5\Modules
  • C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\DxO_Labs\DxO PureRAW 2\Module
If you are on Mac, you can find it in
  • ~/Library/DxO PhotoLab v5/Modules/
  • ~/Library/DxO_Labs/DxO PureRAW 2/Modules

Regards,
Marie

Hello @Marie,

Thank you for the quick update!
I assume you meant C85053a_000.caf (three zeros). Removing that file means that the lens corrections will not be applied, and the 28-70 depends on the image being corrected in the raw decoder.
Look forward to the fix.
Best regards,

  • Srdjan

Yes, sorry, that’s the side effect of that problem.

Marie

Unfortunately, the latest PureRAW 2 (2.2.0) has not fixed the bug.

Hello @SrMi ,

fix of the module itself is planned to be released at the beginning of October.

Marie

Hello @SrMi ,
