Wishlist: A professional panorama stitcher with DXO secret sauce built in

I do panos this way:

Process the images as normal and export to tiff.
Stitch the tiffs in Microsoft ICE (it’s free, though no longer under development)
Finish the job in LR/PS/Affinity depending on what I want the image to look like.

MS created ICE, it works bloody well, and then they ditched development? Can’t fathom MS at times!

MS ICE will stitch raw files but for the best results, I process the raw files in PL and save to tif. Then I open them in ICE.

Leaving this here in case you are not aware of the availability of Autopano Giga, it is now free:

they closed in 2018, if you still run a computer that date from before you’re good, if you run MAC M chip you’re off the hook, plus i couldn’t find supported camera/lens as the host link is no more available.

I am actually running it off my M1 Mac and it works for me.

And regardig lens and camera support, you don’t need them; exported TIFF from Photolab works well in Autopano for me.

More info and download links are available here:

fine, i’ll check if it run on M2.
the last link you give work, not the other one or maybe the other one is Windows as it doesn’t work on mac.
