I’ve been playing with amateur radio, and was for some years getting paid for controlling radio frequency emissions from electronics.
We humans don’t have enough optical “detectors” to precisely agree, and the proof (hah!) is disagreement about colors such as magenta; the “film” [retina] has imprecise receptors of large bandwidth, or we’d never agree on colors.
