What is the ket difference between Perspective Efex & Viewpoint

I was contemplating between VP and Nik Collection, which I probably only need the Perspective Efex from the bundle.

Hence I would like to know what is the key difference between this 2 before I decided on which to get.

From what I read it has only an disadvantage to us Perspective Efex. You break the parametric workflow of PL. Viewpoint is integrated in PL. Assuming Jason is using PL.
