Viewer: Ergonomic zooming and dragging

Using either a mouse or a touchpad, the current double-click gesture is tiresome for zooming in. Suggestion is to use the same gestures as for Nikon’s ViewNX-i.

  • using mouse: a single left-click, while held down on an unzoomed image, zooms image 1:1 and allows dragging. Zoom ceases when mouse button is released. If image is zoomed, left click does not zoom image, and allows dragging per current implementation. Mouse wheel still controls zoom

  • using touchpad: one-fingered double-touch, while held on the touchpad, on an unzoomed image, zooms image and allows dragging. Zoom ceases when lifting finger from touchpad. If image is zoomed, one-fingered double-touch, does not zoom image, and allows dragging per current implementation. Pinching controls zoom.

I use a mouse with wheel; the wheel controls the zoom.

Sure wheel controls zoom.
