HDR Efex in it’s current state does a pretty good job of aligning handheld shots, especially by 2012 standards. No wonder it was the premier HDR program for so long.
But compared to modern software I find that HDR Efex isn’t as perfect as some others. It does pretty well with horizontal and vertical alignment but seems to have issues with slight differences in tilt, as tends to occur when shooting handheld.
