Control line?
Skies arent always clean cut.
Which is why Control Lines are so useful. They don’t just act as a graduated filter would, they have selectivity sliders that allow you to select just the sky tonalities.
Take this image…
Apply a Control Line from just below the horizon and place the pipette in the sky. Activate the mask and you will see…
Adjust the selectivity sliders until only the sky is selected - it will turn white if it is fully selected.
Then deactivate the mask and adjust the sliders on the equaliser until the detail you want appears in the sky…

Yes, @HanSch , but the second item would help both of us. Coloring in a motif with one of the brushes in the case of very restless motifs is very time-consuming and exhausting.
