Can Silver Effex Pro emulate a selenium tone ? The tone I want to use is a purple for shadows and possibly mid tones, similar in nature to the selenium tone used by Ansel Adams.
How would this be done using Silver Effex Pro? Once I know it can be done then I will gladly buy the program. In the past I was told it could be done using other software only to find out it couldn’t do what I needed and hence a waste of money on my part. Thank you.
Hi Tim. Silver Efex Pro 2 does have a selection of 3 levels of selenium toning available. I’m not sure if any of these will meet your needs. I suspect that the 3rd level may approximate what you describe. The only way to find out is to try it yourself. The entire Nik Collection is available for a 30 day free trial.
