This is my “Pure Raw” preset for DxO PL4. Tips for improvement are very welcome.

This is not necessarily an improvement because good and bad are a matter of taste here. Instead, have my opinion:

  • Default luminance noise suppression levels can kill textures. I use <20 instead.
    Keeping some luminance noise makes the images look more natural.
  • High Smart Lighting values can kill the mood. I use <20, if I use it at all.

Many thanks for your opinions, I will test it.

New Version, with less Noise reduction and only a small Smart Lightning value. The advantage is that I can control the settings if they not fit for a raw file.
