Problems w/Nik 5.0 in both Lightroom CC and Photoshop

  1. Color Efex Pro 5 does not allow edits when activated from Lightroom CC. Compare will show original photo but not edited. Returns a black image to LR. Other tools seem OK.
  2. None of the Nik tools are available in Photoshop. An old version of the Selective Tool gives “program does not exist” errors. I cannot find any way to delete old Selective Tool. Uninstalling Nik Collection does not remove the old Selective Tool.

I did find the cause of these problems: old Google Nik files. I deleted that directory and reinstalled Nik 5.0. All problems were fixed.
