PL6 - does not load photos passed from external application when in customize tab

Hi,

with PL6.0.1 (trial):
When I’m in the customize tab and I use an external application (in my case iMatch) to pass one or more photos to PL6 they first won’t be loaded in PL6.

Image Browser shows:
“Please select a folder or a project to display its content here”

Edit module shows:
“To preview the correction for an image, select it in the image browser below”
(Just a small remark: I have the image browser on a 2nd screen so it is not “below”)

When I then click on “PhotoLibrary” the image browser and the correction preview window are updated with the photo(s) that were just passed to PL and not visible before.

Opening via Windows Explorer does work → this loads the full folder content into the PL6 image browser. When I open them with e.g. iMatch they open as “External Selection” in the Photo Library.

Not sure if this helps, but this is the output in the DxO.PhotoLab.txt logfile:

8:47:xx is when Photo is passed to PL6 and Image Browser / Editor are empty afterwards
8:48:xx is when Changing to the “Photo Library” and images are then loaded correctly

Same Problem with PL 5.5 and it seems even with PL4.

I have noticed, that when I pass the images from the command line, the first time it does not work. When I call the command a second time, it works. So the effect of switching back to Photolibrary and Customize Module seems to be the same as calling the command two times.

You are right: the same thing happens now on PL5.5 too.
This worked before (I used it almost daily with no problems). Seems like the PL6 installation messed something up?

@DxO_Support-Team Is there any information when this behaviour will be fixed for PL5?

FYI: See the topic “Strange behaviour when sending images to Photolab from another program”
I assume this is about the same problem.
The fix is promised soon for PL5 and PL6, I hope to get it in the coming days.
