Hangs at start. Nothing happens, consumes about 90% cpu without any I / O. Have let it “work” for over an hour, no results. Uninstalled and reinstalled without any results. No problems with PL3. Any suggestions

How big is your database?
After starting PL 4 its hanging now for to long at the same position, as you see in the screenshot. Question now is if I should force quit or wait a bit longer?!
But its lasting now at that point for already 15 minutes.
This is the post about the solution, if it is the problem (Post 25):
Ok, I solved the problem, but not really. Temporarily removed the database of PL 3.3 and the already existing one of PL 4. Now PL 4 starts without any problem.
So the problem seems to be the database created by PL 4 that it converted from PL 3.3.
