First, the installation order should be the following: first Photoshop, then Nik collection by DxO.
After that when you open an image in PS you will have several options to run NIK plugins (selective tool, main menu…) like this:

I had photoshop installed already with the old version of Nik. I have downloaded the new Nik but it doesn’t show up in the filters menu. Bev

1 - What is your Photoshop version? PS 6?
2 - When you install NIK by DxO do you see your PS in the list of the hosts like this:

My PS version is CC 2015
