I had just purchased the new Nik Collection 4 and installed it on my work computer. It was fine until I restarted Photoshop. Then it would crash after opening an image. Any image.
When I got home I tried it on my Windows machine and it did the same thing.
Dx0 had responded rather quickly to my support ticket and here’s what it told me to do:
Uninstall the program using windows add/remove programs.
Right click on the .exe file and run as administrator.
I did both these things and it’s working properly.
Hopefully this will save any others some time trying to figure it out.
