I have just started using PhotoLab 5 and have been attempting to sort my images by using keywords. Sometimes this seems to work ok but sometimes when I do a search the photos come up but lots of them are not thumbnails but just question marks and it says file cannot be accessed.
Sorry if this is obvious but I’m a 70 year old trying to get my head around the whole library feature.
I am using a mac and keep my folders in downloads and then move to documents to save them in the cloud.

If I understood correctly, after processing you are moving all your files on the cloud?
If this is the case it can not walk, PL find keywords in its database but do not find the corresponding files since you have moved them.
