Problem here with PhotoLab 3.3.0 build 4391
When I launch the application, I get the initial window with the kingfisher, the sand clock starts then freezes at about 80% of completion.

The problem still appears and disappears at time. I was thinking about several possible issues : (i) software bug at application level (ii) window issue , since this kind of problem seems to be sometimes in relation to OS upgrades and (iii) last, H/W issue on my computer.
After thoroughly testing hardware, I have rejected the H/W issue.
I have then restored default libraries (with window explorer options) and checked / repaired window image, using the following commands :
(open a cmd window as an nadministrator)
the dism sequence below repair the image archive
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
then perform the sfc command to repair the image
Upon doing that, one image error has been fixed … but after a few window restart, the error didn’t disapperar; instead the “warm-up” time of DXO was reduce to a few minutes (which still makes no sense).
After power-up this morning, the problem seems to have disappeared, even though the warm-up time of DXO is still very long ( about one minute).
