Hello,
after starting DxO PL4 the “Essential Tools” palette is displyed on the reight side of the screen. But as soon as I switch to any of the other palettes like “Color” “Essential Tools” disappears. Afterwards I did not find a way to display the “Essential Tools” again. What am I doing wrong?

Palettes collapse or expand when you click on their title bar. Clicking on the X removes the palette.
Palettes can be managed through the View menu, where you can also reset the workspace completely.

After you finish using whatever you needed in the color menu, click on the color menu button again and your essential tools menu will return.
