I understand that PL5 will be able to handle RAW files from the Nikon Z9 in March, but what optic modules will be made available?
My wish list is for modules to cater for:
Z9 with Nikkor Z MC 105mm f2.8 VR S Lens
Z9 with Nikkor Z 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 VR S
Z9 with Nikkor Z 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 VR S plus 1.4 TC
Z9 with Nikkor Z 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 VR S plus 2.0 TC
Z9 with Nikon 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6G VR
Z9 with Nikon 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6G VR plus 1.4TC

80-400mm wasn’t good at handling high rez of the D850, not sure why it could be good with the new Z9 which is also high rez. Wasn’t this lens limit up to 32mp?
All I can say is that my 80-400 G lens has worked well on my D810, D850 and Z9 maybe you are thinking of the older 80-400 D? That was not good on the more recent bodies.
No i am referring the latest G version Nikon had released.
Fair enough. All I can say is that I am very happy with 80-400 G on the D850 and Z9 even when used with a 1.4 TC.
Usually a new camera support from one vendor is providing support for already supported lenses for other cameras of the same range, ie here we should have lenses supported for Z7 and D6.
So my guess is that you could look at these supported lenses for these cameras to estimate your wish list…
That’s good you have a good lens version, i tried 2 and returned them.
