On using photolab only as a raw processor with LR as a DAM

I followed this:

I browse and cull my images in LR. I use the plugin to send it to PL.
I can get the image to appear in PL with a new ‘lightroom project’ that is auto created. I make my modifications to the image. But the export to lightroom button does not exist-the only thing i see is ‘export to disk’. And when I do that, the image does not appear in LR. I have to go into LR and reimport it. Is this the way it is supposed to be?

Out of curiosity what would lead you to suspect she and Svetlana were the same person?
