DXO Support has confirmed to me that NIK Photoshop Plugins won’t run on Apple M1 systems, except if you make Photoshop run under Rosetta, but they won’t run natively on the M1 chip. This is very unfortunate, and it is unacceptable. Furthermore, they won’t even say of DXO is working on a Apple M1-compatible version of its products. Major disappointment.
I’m pretty sure that DxO is working on it. They’ll simply not say anything about work in progress and I can understand it. Nevertheless, a simple announcement would be quite nice indeed.
