Nik Collection causes Photoshop error 'could not complete your request because of a program error'?

Hi!

Wondering if the Photoshop error: could not complete your request because of a program error, causes by the Nik Collection plugin?

Today I am facing a huge trouble with both of them on my MacBook Pro, or I get the message in PS and the plugin is started, or I get no error message in PS but the plugin is not started. And it is getting worse; I can start one of the apps within the collection, but can’t do anything in the app. And if I can start the app (lets say: Color Efex Pro4.app) after working on a photo and hit save, nothing will be saved…

I have to say that sometimes it works well, but today pffff…

Please help me out if you have the answer!

I can’t open most opps either directly or from Photoshop on Windows 10. Program errors directly from photoshop and screens my “trial period as ended” when I try as stand-alones.
However I can open from my old edition of DXO photolab2

Tips to fix-
Update Photoshop.
Check the system requirements.
Disable Generator.
Reinstall your graphics driver.
Restore Photoshop’s default preferences.
Turn off GPU acceleration.
Roll back to the previous version of Photoshop.
