Nik Collection 4: Full integration with PL4?

Hi,

does anyone know if the new Nik Collection 4 will seamlessly integrate into PL4, like it was in previous times with Nikon’s CNX2 (which was a perfect bundle)?

Or do we rather have to wait for PL5?

It is similar to Nik Collection 3. The main updates seem to be the redesigned user interfaces for Viveza and Silver Efex as well as an updated and more user friendly implementation of control points in those programs. I think Silver Efex and Viveza will be the model for design updates to the other Nik programs. However, with regard to a seamless integration in to PL4, its not any different than the Nik Collection 3. While I don’t know for certain I wouldn’t expect any more integration of Nik into PL5 then in PL4.

The answer is yes if you keep PhotoLab 4 up-to-date. PhotoLab 4.3 for Windows was just released. This is included in the release notes:

That depends on Enzo’s definition of seamless integration. If he is thinking in terms of how FilmPack is seamlessly integrated into PL4, then the answer is no.
