Hi, is there a possibility to read but not to write metadata?

Of course. If you don’t edit the metadata files, they won’t be updated.

Thanks, pity PL5 isn’t at all clear on not using this if you do DAM management elsewhere. I noticed DAM in the guides but as I don’t use PL didn’t read it, I clearly should have to see what to avoid.
The beauty of switching off automatic synchronisation is that you’ll get full control over when to read or write data from and to files respectively.
