Just installed the latest version in the latest version of Photoshop, NIK effects is showing up in my filer menu but the menu panel has never made its self visible

It is fine here but I’m on Mac.
I uninstalled then I used the cleanup tool and it showed up but then it vanished again 
that sounds strange
