my laptop meets the minimum requirements, but unfortunately that is not enough to work comfortably here.
I use the tool “HDR Effex” (latest version) most with the Nik collection. Here it always takes about 90 seconds until my 3 exposure series is loaded.
My laptop is (I think) not so bad:
Processor Intel(R) Core™ i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz 2.80 GHz
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.9 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Edition Windows 10 Pro
Version 21H2
Graphics: GeForce GTX 1050
What would be recommended here if you want to bring the loading time to under 30 seconds? Especially after a holiday when you want to process 200 or more picture series, the waiting time is a huge deterrent…
