Local correction masks : delete control points or painted mask while keeping equalizer settings

When user edits the local corrections, an interface should be provided for:

  • deleting all control points except one
  • deleting all negative control points
  • deleting all positive control points
  • erasing a painted mask

These actions would preserve the local settings of the equalizer.

This feature would be useful for tweaking local corrections copied from an image to another.

That’s an interesting suggestion.

While it’s easy to delete all controlpoints in the copy except the one, you want to keep/move (and with it keep the slider’s settings), one can’t move a painted mask.
If this could be done with holding down a (hot) key …

I remember, that once I moved a mask by mistake (no idea how that happened), I couldn’t bring it back and tried to re-paint, which was difficult because of the gradient.

Thanks ! Moving / resizing a painted mask could be a feature request on its own.

after re-reading Local correction masks : delete control points or painted mask while keeping equalizer settings - #2 by Wolfgang …

For painted masks, as standard they should be fixed to avoid mistakes and only intentionally been moved around, e.g. when holding down a (hot) key.
