Loading DxO optical modules stucks (Win10)

DxO PhotoLab 4 Elite stucks during loading and installing optical modules. Nothing works and I have to stop the application via Taskmanager. Any hints/tips?

Thanks in advance.

If you keep PhotoLab’s window size small enough to see if any notifications appear on your desktop (for example, from antivirus security software), do you see anything happen while PhotoLab is stuck?

I also suggest checking the Windows Event Viewer for Application or System errors during the time PhotoLab gets stuck. And the PhotoLab 4 log file in your Documents folder.

I hope this helps track down the cause.

Good morning @LSe,

Greg (@Egregius ) is correct, that can be you antivirus that affects the modules installation. Could you, please check that and let us know?

Thank you,
Svetlana G.

Hello @sgospodarenko Hallo Svetlana,

I use Windows Defender only. No other antivirus software, nor any firewall is active. There is no notification from Windows Defender during installing the optical modules. I hope this helps.

Good morning @LSe ,

Okay, got it. In this case please, create a ticket here - support.dxo.com and provide the following info for them:
Log files – %UserProfile%\Documents\DxO PhotoLab 4 logs
CAFList4.db - %LocalAppData%\DxO\DxO PhotoLab 4

Thank you
Svetlana G.
