I’m only talking about losing your place if you accidentally changed to the search view of the images with a particular keyword. For example, if you are working in the library and applying keywords in a particular folder and accidentally left click a keyword in the database instead of right clicking it to add it, it would be annoying if it changed the view and I had to manually drill down through a bunch of subfolders to go back to where I was. If you intentionally click to view the images with that keyword that is completely fine.

The number is big enough to avoid clicking on something else.
And then there are many other clicks more difficult and accurate in PL.
Agreed. Usually, folder hierarchies stay open, and there is a “Recent Locations” entry in the file menu too - at least on Mac…
