Installing PL4 4.2 over PL4 4.1.1 Elite?

I am using PL4 Elite 4.1.1, build 4479 on Windows 10. I just noticed that there is an update to PL4 4.2. My questions are:

  1. If I install 4.2, will I still have Elite status?
  2. If I choose to install 4.2, is there anything special with existing 4.1.1 that I will have to do in order to prepare for a successful install?

  1. Yes. “Elite” is a license, not the software itself. The software is updated, the license stays the same.

  2. No. Just run the installer - it will provide the update and retain all your settings.
