Not all cameras appear as external drives. Nikons do, Canons don’t… If your camera does not show on your Mac, you’ll need to take the memory card out of the camera and insert it in your Mac’s SD-card slot. If your camera uses CF-cards or your Mac has no cardslot, you’ll need an external card reader.
