How to add an existing photo in the Mac PHOTOS. Into a folder so I can edit it with DXO 6?

I have tried to drag into a folder but that didn’t work.

open photo, drag your picture over the folder you want it in, a “+” sign will appear or the folder with highlight, then you can just let go. done. you can also just drop it off on your desktop then drag it over your folder.

if you open photo full screen, you don’t have much room to play. just reduce it size (half screen) so you can see where to drop it.

Of course, this only transfers the JPEG. For the RAW, you need to export from the File menu…

you can also right click your picture and go down to “edit with”
