Grey pixelated Screen on calling Dfine 2 from Lightroom or Photolabs 6

When calling Dfine 2 from either Lightroom (Edit in) or Photolabs 6 (Nik Collection), I get presented with a grey pixelated screen. No image or part of image is visible. Just a grey pixelated screen.
Seems to happen always with .CR3 or .TIFF
JPG seems okay but that is not what I need as it is too late in the workflow.
Mac M1 / OS Ventura 13.0.1 / Lightroom 12.0.1 / Photolab 6.0.3
Any help / advise appreciated
