How do you get them back?
For me they were just available again. No further action needed.

Click on the vote-counter (top-left of page) - and, if one of the counted votes was yours, then you’ll be offered the option to remove it (for use elsewhere).

My vote is locked at
Clicking on the Closed vote (shows just my vote) I get a fly out with me on it Click on that and I end up in my activity with no sign of any votes.
