Find the right film

hi everyone,

i’m using filmpack since half a year now. i still have problems finding films i like for particular photos.
what am i doing wrong or how do you handle that?

dear DxO team,
could you please add something to the interface to make it more user friendly?

Suggestions:

• have a popup dialog with thumbnails of the currently edited image, rendered with the differernt films
• Allow the user to tag and filter the films (rating, like in the image browser)
• Allow the user to make own collections/folders in the Category dialog ( like @Pat91 suggested a while ago https://forum.dxo.com/t/any-way-to-create-subfolders-in-my-presets/8267

Hello, thanks to a user on this forum - @mwsilvers - you have access to presets for each film from filmpack

Filmpack 6 Elite presets for use within PhotoLab are now available!

ADDENDUM: Please note that on January 4th, it came to my attention that DXO added partial presets for the seven new Fuji Digital films, the six new Cinematic films and Kodak EIR to the DXO Filmpack Designer - Color folder. However, It appears that DxO’s versions may have additional options selected so they may not be as “partial” as the ones I uploaded. As a result some people may decide it is not necessary to install the Digital and Cinematic folders, included my download, in order to access…

for now you can only

• see the previews within → Apply preset
• see the applied presets → from the Preset Editor (simpler as Color Rendering)
  or
• use the integrated standalone version
