I am interested in trying out/buying Filmpack 6. A question I have prior to this is does the program enable the user to create a letterboxed (cinematic) view of an image by adding black bars to the top and bottom of the image?

FP6 can add a black frame and one can adjust its size to a certain degree, while the frame appears on all sides – not at top and bottom only.
When I tried to then cut off both sides, the frame was hidden and I could only crop the pic.
→ Maybe on can save the file w/ the frame, reload the new version in FP and then crop off the sides …
