I don’t know if this is a Mac-only problem but, when you want to filter those files shown in the filmstrip, the list expands downwards from the filter button. If you only have one row of thumbnails showing, this then means you have to immediately scroll to see all the options.
From my own Mac development work, I know it is possible to specify that the list expands in the direction of the most space. This “should” be a relatively simple fix
Yes, this and that the dialog closes each time is most annoying. Also the filter dialog should stay open so that I don’t so many clicks (and scrolling) if I e. g. want to deselect one, two and three stars.
