Fast Raw Viewer with DXO Photolab 4

Did you know that it’s doing that anyway? There’s a medium-quality, medium-sized JPEG embedded in the raw format files of both Nikon and Canon (and most probably all the others). Raws are just specialized TIFF files - and your camera needs something to display on the back panel when you’re reviewing shots.
That said, I’d echo John-M in that using that JPEG to judge a taken-in-raw shot is a terrible idea - unless you’re just looking at composition.
If you’re looking for a way to quickly review raw-format shots once you’ve pulled them onto some kind of PC, check out FastRawViewer. Very fast. Really good analysis (RGB histograms, RGB blown / crushed). Loads faster than what you’re doing now (yeah, you can look at and delete JPEGs quickly - but how quickly can you find/delete the associated raw files?) And it’s pretty cheap, too.
